I love to play jax as a jungler's champion. His power is always strange and effective. I use him in many matches and test him with many ways if I can. Recently, I play him and focus on his attacking speed.
The first, I build jax with damage, anti magic/physic damage. I feel miss something in the combat when he jump,stun,hit the enemies. It have a lot of cases that his rival is still alive with a few hp under 50. What happen?. I give jax in many damage but he let the opponent run with low hp. I consider that it is not enough speed to finish someone. We win that match but I am not happy.
The second, I build jax with speed, physical damage penetrate and go to the jungle. The attack speed is so effective. I gank and finish the rival more easily than I imagine. Jax with attack speed is better. I play confidently, don't let the enemies go with low hp under 50, it's terrible. I think that Jax is so powerful in this situation.
Jax is good offensive or defensive. He balance these abilities. I can build him as a semi-tank in a team lack of tanker. His skills is flexible with jump, blocking damage. He is a one of respectable opponents. If your rival pick jax, you must take care of him. He come in and jump out the combat fast, you catch him hardly.
